Western India Automobile Association(WIAA) is a Premier Motoring Institution in Asia, affiliated to the Federation Internationale de I'Automobile Pairs, France and Federation of Indian Automobile Association. WIAA saw its first dawn in 1919 with a maximum of 12 association members. Today the family has extended to nearly 1,10,000 members, with its branches in Ahmedabad, Pune, Goa and Nagpur.

It renders Yeoman services to all the users of the roads and it is in the forefront of the various civic activities, WIAA has been a representation of Traffic Advisory Bodies, Accident Prevention Committees, constituted by the central and state Governments as well as the city administration. It helps the State and the Central Government in implementing their advocacies to a Road safe Nation. WIAA has been imparting training to drivers on the Safe Driving for more than fifty years.

Youth is the future of our world. So they are the first ones to be our face to a new environment. We all can live a much safer life by just implementing small precautions while on road. WIAA with the help of ministry of Surface Transport, Regional Transport Office, Mumbai Police and Central Government; looks forword to another year of safer roads. Every year, Marine Drive (Service Road) is the centre of attention for the city due to a week long activities on RSW.
